uftah....
I gotta say this mom, working full-time, shopper, decorator, wife, homeowner, thing sure takes up a lot of time. There has not been much time for painting or blogging which I really didn't think it would be much of an issue...don't you just put babies in a bouncy seat and check on them every once and awhile and feed them when they cry? Apparently not! But we are loving every second of it. As always, we do post everything that we are ready to sell on the blog but we will also post it on craigslist as well. Please keep checking back for updates that admittedly will be random but we appreciate your patience while we return to our regularly scheduled life :). Thank you!

How cute...

random thoughts
"You can't have everything in life...where would you put it?"
Have you ever been shopping and something catches your eye and you are like this is so cool...but what in the world will I do with it? Do you buy it and make something happen or do you have the will-power to pass? I feel like this always happens to me...the other day I was shopping at my idea of heaven (HomeGoods) and I saw these over size chess pieces. I had them in the cart...I had to have them! And then I was like what the heck am I going to do with these...I dont even know how to play checkers let alone chess. So back on the shelf they went. Then I see something like this...ugh! How cute!!! (good thing I dont have a deck, because that would have made it 10 times worse!) I guess it goes on the some day list..... does that list EVER get shorter?????
Did anyone else see these? Did you buy them? What are you going to do with them?

NEW ADVENTURE!!!
So I think we are making this baby official! We are planning on having a booth at the Rosemount High School Craft fair! We are both so excited for this journey and think it will be an awesome event for us 1st timers being that it is so close to home!
The event is being held the 1st Saturday in November and we hope to have lots of furniture (smaller pieces) and plenty of pictures of bigger ones available for purchase, and some whimpsical accessories as well.
Once we have more information on the show we will be sure to post it here.
How Exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you again for all your support! You are the best!

We intrupt this regularly scheduled design blog...
To celebrate my 30th Birthday....yep. I am finally admitting I am 30!
Angie and I along with some friends and family whooped it up at the Shout House this past weekend...good times. Here are some not too embarrassing pictures that I can share. :)
Although we can paint furniture and shop like mad...we can still have a good time too! :) How lucky we are............
NOW we will get back to work ;)

Drum roll please....
So here it is...our basement. Far from finished, yes! But we are still very excited about it.
We tried to combine our tastes and go with a "vintage" sports theme. We both LOVE IT!
These are pictures of the view from the family room area...where the picture is being taken is where the pool table will go... (someday).
This is not our couch, we are actually conveniently storing it for friend while I save up for my down sectional (hopefully).
This is coming down the stairs. I am not a huge picture frame person through out the house but I LOVE them all grouped together like this!
Love: the Board and Batten, espresso stained bamboo floors, soft "cushy" carpet, and the vintage sports and movie reels.
HATE: the work that is still left to do in the touch-ups!
WANT LIST: still working on finding the perfect sectional that is curl up comfy but still fits a lot of people, still looking for a large TV stand, and some great end tables (you would think I have an "in" on this right?). We are still working out some details on some built-ins and will someday have the time and energy to decorate the cutest bedroom down there!
All on the "SOMEDAY" list. I am sure you all have one as well!
So that is it! Of course there is the bathroom (see previous post) and a storage room and a bedroom that someday you will get to see. So much more to do, but yet we are so happy with where it is right now and are so ready for a break :).
